What to check before booking
For a shut door, first confirm whether the lock was turned with a key. For a broken or lost key, a cylinder change may be appropriate, but not every fault requires replacing the whole lock. A stiff multipoint lock may also be caused by door alignment.
We also discuss safe opening and window unlocking requests, subject to the equipment involved, access rights and confirmed availability. Do not force a safe or window mechanism before diagnosis: that can make the repair more difficult.
Send your address, a clear photo and a short description. Ask for travel, labour, after-hours supplements and parts to be explained before work begins. We may ask for proof of lawful access.
